The dedicated space for face-to-face play

Welcome to the Poker Room

Step into a dedicated space designed for face-to-face poker, where the focus is on the game, the players, and the atmosphere.

The poker room is a distinct area within Juego y Premio, separate from the restaurant but seamlessly connected. It offers a refined yet relaxed environment for social poker play. Physical tables, cards, and chips are central to the experience.

Atmosphere and Design

A Space for Focus and Conversation

The poker room is designed to balance concentration with social interaction, using warm lighting, comfortable seating, and acoustic treatments to keep the atmosphere inviting.

Warm, dimmable lighting creates a focused yet welcoming mood. Upholstered chairs and felt-covered tables enhance comfort for long sessions. Acoustic panels reduce noise, allowing clear conversation across the table.

Colours and Materials

Deep aubergine walls, soft ivory accents, and natural wood details give the room a sophisticated, contemporary feel that aligns with the restaurant's design language.

The colour palette mirrors the website's terracotta, ocean blue, and lime accents. Tables feature high-quality felt in muted tones. Subtle overhead lighting highlights the table surfaces without glare.

Physical Poker Tables

Crafted for Comfort and Play

  • Each poker table is built with a padded rail, recessed cup holders, and a smooth felt surface, providing a professional yet comfortable playing experience.
  • Tables are oval or round, seating up to eight players.
  • Felt is in muted colours to reduce eye strain.
  • Cup holders keep drinks secure without interrupting play.

Cards and Chips

High-quality plastic playing cards and clay composite chips are provided at every table, adding to the tactile, face-to-face nature of the game.

Cards are replaced regularly to maintain condition. Chips are used solely as physical table accessories for tracking play. No monetary value is associated with chips.

Table Layout

Tables are spaced generously to allow easy movement and privacy, with each table having its own dedicated lighting and dealer position if applicable.

Spacing prevents crowding and reduces distractions. Overhead lights focus on the table surface. No dealer position is assumed; describe as 'if applicable'.

Room Layout and Flow

Zones Within the Room

The poker room is organised into distinct zones: the main playing area, a small lounge corner for breaks, and a service station for refreshments.

Main playing area houses the poker tables. Lounge corner offers comfortable seating away from tables. Service station provides water, coffee, and light snacks.

Movement and Accessibility

Wide aisles and clear sightlines ensure easy movement between tables and to the exits, with step-free access throughout.

Aisles are at least 1.2 metres wide (general accessibility standard). Lighting is even to avoid dark corners. Emergency exits are clearly marked.

Dining and Hospitality

Food and Drink Service

Guests in the poker room can order from the restaurant menu, with dishes delivered to a side table or consumed during breaks to keep the playing surface clean.

A selection of share plates and non-alcoholic beverages is available. Food is served on trays or side tables, not directly on poker tables. Staff are attentive but unobtrusive.

The Restaurant Connection

The poker room is adjacent to the main dining area, allowing guests to move easily between a meal and a game, or to enjoy a drink while watching play.

The restaurant's warm, social atmosphere extends into the poker room. Guests can reserve a table for dining before or after poker. The transition between spaces is seamless.
